Mr. Jeremy Bowyer (Eye Surgeon)
BM (Southampton), FRCOphth
Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon, Specialist in Oculoplastic, Lacrimal and Cataract Surgery
Mr Bowyer is the NHS Consultant Lead for the Oculoplastics Service at the University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust. His areas of interest include plastic and aesthetic surgery around the eye, the management of watery eyes, orbital and socket problems.
Mr Pedro Muel-Gonzalez (Eye Surgeon)
Mr Pedro Muel-Gonzalez is an NHS Consultant Ophthalmologist, with a special interest in cataract and oculoplastic surgeries.
Mr Muel-Gonzalez specialised in ophthalmic surgery in Spain, before he moved to Dublin, where he completed advanced training in oculoplastic surgery and neuro-ophthalmology.
Jill Heath (Director)
Jill is one of the founding Directors of Eyelid Centre.
Graduating from Business Studies, she went on to gain further qualifications in marketing from the Institute of Marketing. Jill later transferred her interests to dispensing optics and became a member of The Association of British Dispensing Opticians and joined her husband in their Optical business in 1983.
She manages the Eyelid Centre, Stoke and also the Bristol Clinic and guides patients through their cosmetic surgery journeys, from initial enquiry to satisfactory discharge.
Jill enjoys a hectic social life with family and friends. She likes to travel, ski, is an avid reader and enjoys spending relaxing times in France especially.
James Heath (Director/Optometrist)
James has over 30 years of experience as a registered optometrist. Always taking a keen interest in the latest optometric technology and readily involving himself in the latest local eye care initiatives, James is accredited in the latest North Staffordshire schemes for diabetic screening photography, emergency acute eye referrals, post-operative cataract assessments on behalf of the local hospital and more recently, has gained accreditation for shared care of patients from the local hospital with eye lid problems.
In his spare time he supports Stoke City Football Club, skis, runs and cycles.
